Re taxis, don't get long hauled the more tourist who are willing to suffer this bs the worse the problem gets. As Simon say no tunnel, no interstate after this if you at any point use either of these refuse to pay when you get to the hotel. Should be about 20 dollars to harrahs, also if they don't longhaul tip them well!

Shows
Try and see something like
Love @ Mirage (if your mum likes Beatles) - AWESOME
Mystere @ TI - AWESOME
or Absinthe @ Caesars. AWESOME, provided your mum can cope with a lot of swearing and you can laugh freely sitting next to hear at sex jokes, etc

appeals to all age groups and discounted tickets are available, proper shows, don't baulk at the cost.

Just to confirm Simon's thoughts, but Absinthe comes with a big caveat.  I'd happily take my own parents to it, but my father-in-law hates stuff with swearing in so I'd swerve it with him in the party.

[why is that? Anyone staying in or near Harrahs who gets a taxi to the Rio when the shuttle bus is waiting, is mental!]
Also anyone going to Vegas and getting a shuttle or bus anywhere is mental!!

If its Mama G's treat Limo is a must and chopper ride Grand Canyon>bus ride to GC

You can book limo before and they are available on day. I would note that immigration delays can be a bugger

I agree if they try and longhaul you, but often they'll ask which way you want to go ime and I take the freeway because it's quicker than the strip ime....

I was primarily speaking in reference to getting the shuttle from the airport instead of a cab, although I wouldn't be hanging around waiting for shuttle buses either.

Getting around at my convenience >>>>> saving a few dollars

Horses for courses though, if they weren't useful they wouldn't still be there Smiley

Nothing wrong with the cash games where your staying at harrah's either. Mostly full of older players which means lots of fish according to many on here

How can anyone argue the general rule is the younger players are better?

Sorry for offtopic. Love was a fantastic show definitely recommend!

Pretty standard comment from the kidzzzz on here so I was just taking the piss a bit  Grin Grin
