Julian i thought he played great until then! He prob mixed it up more than me in my heat... I was very impressed.
Just that final hand let him down, he was playing great and didnt need to play the hand like that! Calling off all those chips... Laak Played well but 2 people moving in on him when he had aces helped! He's a nice guy tho, if not a little crazy.

aa, aa, kk....sweet
& i liked his winning a tournament analogy; tying to catch a fish with your hands.
andy black was refreshingly honest, and i know lucy won't hold back when it's her turn, gulp.

I enjoyed Andy Black's commentary. Jessie May put a quip in that I enjoyed, when using the Star Wars analogy, he comments "Well John Falconer in no Princess Leha (sp?)" How cruel

Yes i am now officially worried about the commentary lol... Do you think we can sue if we don't like it?
I really hope my passed hand is edited out! Lucy is probably going to tear the table to shreds from the commentary box, and get in a moan about internet poker too lol...
Really looking forward to some of the Ram hands, especially his allin vs Joe and Luke! He had to be bluffin...

I really enjoyed this - it was great to see some proper poker played on TV and to be able to hear the players talking.

Tony G anyone? "Heat 2 to be shown next week looks especially mouth-watering as it includes no less than Donnacha O'Dea and Roy "The Boy" Brindley from Ireland, 1998 WSOP winner, Scotty Nguyen, the ultra-aggressive Tony G from Lithuania, France's Pascal "Triple P" Perrault, and WPT winner, Roland de Wolfe. This sounds like unmissable poker entertainment!" http://uk.pokernews.com/news/2006/1/william-hill-grand-prix.htm

Does Burnley John always show his hands? Don't like it myself.

Sometimes you have to suffer a little bit in your youth to motivate yourself to succeed in later life. Do you think if Bill Gates got laid in high school, do you think there'd be a Microsoft? Of course not.

Maybe he figured that they'd see them anyway (on TV) so if he showed them there and then he'd be able to make a move later as they wouldn't suspect anything?

Can you recall what happened on the hand where Laak had QQ and the flop was 9 T J. That's the last hand I remember before nodding off.
Cheers

Jelly called Laaks bet, turn came a 3rd heart, and Laak moved all-in, Jelly calls with the QT. River is another 9. Laak then beats Burnley john when the Unusual Suspect runs into Laak's KK with 87.
