I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

thornton looks really agitated out there, few bounce outs and hes shaking head, hes usually pretty chilled
the referees and players must have been told by the powers that be to just expect the crowd to be rowdy and off putting, i think its great crack but not sure how happy the players are about it. theres no way if this was happening a couple of years ago that the referee wouldnt have spoken up by now

Bloody awful, the pair of them.
I'm on Nicholson as I couldn't see as much of a difference between them as Mr Betfair could. I wish he could finish...

This commentator is doing my nut in.
Has he ever seen a 140 which isn't a "lovely ton forty"?
Arg! Hadn't heard it till you pointed it out! Grrrrrr
If isn't a "lovely ton forty", it's a "steady ton"
And every player is "playing quite beautifully"
Add to that list "what a last dart" or "what a leg of darts".
Most annoying commentator on any sport since Ted Lowe.

"Absolutely terrific darts"
No. No it wasn't. They scored 180s but neither could finish. Both think they should be in the elite bracket and neither is close ATM. So inconsistent.

Best Player won in the last match.Thornton had stopped the Head shaking before tonight but he seemed to come in and out of the match, when he was on his game Nicholson couldn't live with him.
I fancy Thornton to play better against Taylor in the next match.
Crazy amount of 180's today, Anderson hit 19 alone, possibly more than he hit in his entire PL campaign.
