What price was the 5/4 double tonight?
James Wade to win 5 - 4 @ 5/1
Wes Newton to win 5 - 4 @ 11/2
Adrian Lewis to win 5 - 4 @ 6/1
Michael Van Gerwen to win 5 - 4 @ 5/1
Doubles, 4 bets * £31.00 28/12/2012 22:09:58 124.00 1,116.00
about that

Well done and all that.
But getting 8/1 about both semis finishing 5-4 seems like a completely tez price!

Punters with an opinion, just seems like if the night was played out again say 90 times 5-4 either way in both games would happen less than 10 times on ave.
Did you have a nice result on some horses aswell I noticed on facebook, another trixie?

I answered your question, "just a punter with an opinion"
No need to turn all douchey when I'm interested in your racing win.

its a problem i have with punters in general. People always seem to think they know 100% what is value, and if the value selection loses then we are gonna win in the long term. The true fact is very very few people are qualified to be a judge at any given sport. Therefore everyone else's idea of value is superfluous.

Given the choice between having that bet and laying it, I know which I would have chosen.
You were right, you won, spend all the monies on hookers and blow.
Congrats.

Also had Van Gerwen most !80s and a double MvG / Wade courtedy of Shallow - however his under 13.5 180s in first just went south

I don't think I have enjoyed a game of Darts as much as last nights match.
Hopefully more of the same tonight.

Me 2 mate.
I've gone for under 7.5 180's for wade tonight at evens, can see mvg winning this in a cakewalk if wade doesn't improve his average-thus might not be enough sets for mr switcher to hit the spread. Am also thinking of backing the under 19.5 total 180's for the same reasoning. Obv mvg could prove a problem here as he'll hit them for fun when he gets going, but 20 will be a large number if it only goes 7/8 sets.
Thoughts?

Would you not be better going under 36.5 legs?

Well i've had a tiny interest on under 9 sets at 11/10 and think skybet's 11/8 under 35.5 legs is ok too.
Can't say the 5/6 under 36.5 legs excites me hugely though.
I think the main edge on the market is that some of those making the spreads don't realise how much Wade moves away from the red bit.
Even if the match goes 9/10 sets I think I prefer the under 180 market to the leg one.
Yes MVG could hit 14-15, but Wade could easily be as low as 4-5.
At an average of 4 legs per set if it goes 9/10 sets i'm probs just flipping-so would always want odds against.
