MVG is back!

I was cringing halfway through, because it looked like it was gonna be a case of 'Taylors gonna Taylor'

Liverpool cost my mate a fair few quid today in an acca, so he lumped on MVG @ 3.8 to get out of it and was doing his nut after the 2nd interval Cheesy

Did the same thing he did to Lewis though, and absolutely destroyed him!

It seemed to me that Taylor showed a bit of fatique, these Tournaments woth 3 matches don't suit him as much.
He wasn't very happy losing that match and im sure it will mean he will be even more focused for the World Champs.
Draw is half 11 today.

I was also thinking it was the worst result for Lewis, Wade, Barney and anyone else thinking they might have a shot at the world title: MvG finding form and Taylor getting wound up.

Is it as simple as saying two horse race?

Lewis > MVG imo.

Warmed to Lewis a lot recently. Used to be a proper douche. Think the turning point for him was when he had his kid.

Really hoping it's not a Taylor MVG final for the worlds! Barney for the love and Huybrechts or Anderson for the wallet.

No major clashes in first round really, Kim vs Ronny again though! Hope his missus gets some decent airtime.

Anyone any thoughts on a tickle on Winstanley? He can handle himself on the big stage and when he is on form he can throw with the best of them.

Edit: I am aware that we have Burnett in the first round who has been ok of late but @200/1 it feels like it#s worth a tenna ew.

Ladbrokes are doing money back as a free bet upto £25 if Taylor wins the Worlds, I've thrown £25 on Lewis at 6-1 rather than MVG at a low 3-1 although Anderson at 40-1 was tempting but you never can tell who's gonna show up when he is playing.

Only thing you can trust Anderson to do is wear a horrible shirt!

Lewis seems a deece shout.

A few interests for me in the worlds in order of preference with a nice priced outsider to upset Phil Taylor

Kim Huybrechts to win Q2 4-1 Sportingbet
Lewis 1-2 5/2 888
Lewis to win 13/2 888
R Thornton to win Q1 14-1 Sportingbet

Good luck all

Everyone excited??

Few darts discussions in tft from the pros. Thought I would put them here as I know some people don't read every post over there. Assuming bazza and sir snow don't mind?

Quote from: Bazzaboy
There's a market for player to hit the most 180s tomorrow night. Betfred have Joe Cullen at 12/1 which is too big (BMU go 4/1, PP 13/2) He is a streaky player capable of hitting a lot of 180s if he is "on".

Quote from: exstream
What about most vs his opponent at 2/1?

Quote from: Snowball
Id avoid that personally, Wright 4 or more 180s is one of my bets of the night.

I think I have a deece bet, pretty short price but can see it getting home comfortably. Will post as soon as I have got on myself. If I manage to.. anyone got a boylesports account with ok limits?
