There a results database online for the darts if you have missed a match for reference in the future, always had a problem with this?
For live results I use:
http://live.dartsdata.com/MatchesList.aspx Just click on live, then you can click on the game and it updates the average after every dart thrown. Sometimes it is a little bit wrong but it normally corrects itself within 5 seconds.
For historic results I like:
http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/FixtureList.aspx?EventKey=4486 has all the results by tournament but you can also click on the individual players and it will show you their form, best results etc. etc.
That said I think just watching as much darts as you can is the best thing to do. A lot of the times the results don't accurately reflect how close a game was. You also get a much better feel for how they are playing that way.
A lot of the darts players are also on twitter and they sometimes give stuff away like people being ill or people smashing 9 darters for fun.
LOVE THE DARTS!!
Last night turned out to be much better than I expected. Was very impressed with Burnett. Wright and Burnett could have easily had 100+ averages if it wasn't for a few bad legs at the end of the games.
