wow what a match that was.

Some poor sod supposedly had a 100k at 50 on Taylor.

That's Betfair for Taylor

1.02  £9,935       £321,686
1.03  £21,220     £576,487
1.04                  £104,256
1.05  £20,385     £176,698
1.06  £61           £44,103
1.07  £2,813      £108,927
1.08  £48         £104,993
1.09                 £50,298
1.10  £4,500     £23,763

crikey, some sick people out there tonight.

Can someone explain what those numbers mean please?

The bold numbers are the amounts placed on Taylor to win at the odds on the far left.

£320k @ 1/50
£576k @ 1/33
£104k @ 1/25
£176k @ 1/20

etc.

£1.5 million wagered on him.

Woah.

Was it like that when Federer was in his pomp? Are there any other events where that amount gets bet on such short odds?

That is just the money bet on him at 1/10 or shorter, Ant!

There will have been a lot more besides that, but I only wanted to highlight the real pain Cheesy

Think it is probably half that.  I think it counts the bet on both sides in the figures, so a 50k bet at 1.02 counts as both a 50k bet and a 50k lay.  That definitely used to happen when I was more active there.

I think theyre a bit confuded bottom half....I think Wright is vastly underpriced as he has translated so little floor form to the stage - it is based on Q1 being so weak; and the differences in opinion made a few look ok.  I have added Hamilton ew 40/1 and Smith 66/1 - topped up Hybrechts had a small bet at 80/1 ew and made 33/1 a bet.

Cant have Whitlock or Wright on my mind.  Those three will do me

Pretty much agree with all of that. Whitlock and Wright too short for me. I added Thornton at 33/1, Hamilton at 50/1 and couldn't resist the three figure price on Nicholson as his game looks very close to me. Obv loses next round now.

Enjoyed watching that last night. @) good to see someone not bottle it against Taylor at the end of a match.

Wish Smith had asked Taylor to sign the board after the game.

Would have ended a great night perfectly.

That was a pretty solid performance from Burnett.

I didn't really know him before until recently but him using radiator water to fill his pot noodle because he didn't have a kettle, is the single funniest thing I have ever heard anyone do.

He may be my favourite human.

One for the Dart experts.

Do you guys think the general standard of play is better/worse/same this year relative to previous years?
