I busted the Main Event like a turnip, and I fancy sticking about for the £150+£10 Side Event tomorrow eve/tonight because I'm in the area and would like a flag and some moneys.

I'm wanting to sell 60% of my action at 1.25 due to the field being fairly weak today, so I imagine it will be weaker tomorrow. Also it rounds the numbers of nicely. Could do with the money transferred before the event via bank xfer, or at the event itself.

Details on the event - http://www.gentingpokerseries.com/schedule/leg-5/

Therefore;
1% = £2
5% = £10
10% = £20
and so on.

My background:

Played micro MTTs for the past 3 years, been a consistent winning player.
Unlocked on sharkscope to search my online stats - Gil3000 on both Stars and FT (obviously FT from a little while back)
Played in 6 big live events like this one:
Mincashed Notts UKIPT season 2 a year back;
Played Manchester UKIPT season 2, made Day 2, lost a flip to bust as I homed in on the bubble.
Poker 770 a few months back - made day 2, fell short of the money
Finished 4th in the 6 Max UKIPT Side Event
Through Blonde staking I sold action for the £150 DS and did a chop with Rich Blacklock, link to thread here - http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58010.0
Hendon Mob - http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=188776
Busted on Level 7 at the GPS ME, but this is the first two day event I've played where I havent made the 2nd day.

After playing Poker770 Simon Deadman said he would be more than happy to give me a reference, who said I played really well as I sat next to him for the entirety of Day 1

No re-entry for this bad boy

flame on

Reserved:

10% - Mike Aston Smith
50% - Frankie

I know no one posted here, but I'd like to document my hands - finished on 112k, going back to 1k/2k/200, I think about 35 left.

Had some familiar faces around me including Sunny mistri, Rastafish and Bobafett who got into day 2 also.

I was down to like 5k in about Level 6, cbets dont get through.

I then jammed 8 bigs UTG with
Called by   , then by   , then by

Flop is   Two Diamonds, despite the turn being   we fade! back to starting.

Then grinded to about 40k
Opened to 2,400 with   , player behind flats, Chaz Chattha makes it 10k, who recently 3bet me.
I jammed for 40k, player behind folds, he snaps with   and we hold again.

Last hand of the night player opens EP for 4,500, I flat   in the sb, the bb whod been active, ready to get it in flats.
Flop -

Checks to the bettor, making it 7k. I flat, the bb jams for 20k total, bettor folds.

I could fold this spot, but preflop he said "You've priced me in now, I feel like I have to call with this hand"

I felt like that ruled out pretty much all Kx hands so I call, he has and we hold

Average at about 55k I think, so double this.

That all looks pretty fine to me. 44 is very standard, shove or fold, QQ v AQ,as played. As for 99, probably most questionable with someone also 7k, then a RR, but as you said, you already had 7k in pot.

You played all fine, imo.

Good luck tomorrow!

The reshove got through vs the original raiser, so was a HU pot, but yeah, still trivial.

thanks, want to find myself a flag!

Sorry it's been a while

As stated above I got 4th for £1,600.

I got back to play with 13 getting paid, 25 remaining.

I had a weird hand early on, by the sound of the responses I'm getting it was a spew despite villain having bluffs in his range.
However I'm still really annoyed at the line I took, probably the one big mistake I made all tournament:
http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=59605.0
However I binked the boat and moved u to be one of the chipleaders.

I lost some around the bubble trying to apply some pressure, but having it stuck in my eye multiple times.
I eventually made the FT having won a flip (44>AQ)

From here I never really got moving too much, cruising on around 15 big blinds. I definitely felt like I had an edge over the rest of the table, just hoped for a nice spot or two that never really came up for me.
4 handed there were two huge stacks, I still had about 15 bigs.
Aggressive player opens UTG, I find 77 and jam, the bb snaps me off with  and flops the

thoroughly enjoyed this tournament as I do with all 2 day events, I expect to be playing more GPS Events in the future.
