Joking aside, it's lovely to have such warm comments considering I haven't met most of you, and most of those I have met have only met me briefly.

Eight months and almost 3,000 posts have absolutely flown by.

Now you know what I look like, be sure to say hello.

Ha!

Alright, Lord Chirpy of Chirpington! People like me are the reason people like you get flags, girls and glory, so don't tap the tank.

See you when you're back on home soil.

Heroes are being selected here. Had my Chess for Dummies book come in the post today and that was spurred by Tal. As for Lil Dave, a very interesting blog and a lifestyle I think most people envy, gives up a lot of time to help people out with poker theory and just comes across as a top guy.

Wp both imo.

2012 has been another successful year for this man, Chris Brammer

He's spent most of it top of the Online Poker rankings and has achieved notable success, this graph from a few months ago

I spent several days watching him at UKIPT Nottingham in April, an event I was convinced he would win, only for him to finish 11th of 1729.

He followed this up with a WSOP final table in Vegas and then the final of the WSOP-E in Cannes in the Autumn, he was staked for both events on blonde

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=59123.0

In Vegas he was staked for 21 Events, & failed to make a Day Two, or cash, in the first 20 or so. He then binked big in the 21st - a remarkable tale of character and perseverance

Just last week, he reached the final of the GUKPT Grand Final in London

2013, I think, will see him win multiple live titles as his major talent, combined with undoubted hard work give him a great shot at that. Online? More of the same, I expect.

It is fantastic for blonde to have people like Chris posting. Through the year Chris has contributed on many Poker Hand Analysis threads, given advice to tour operators, been at the heart of several debates on staking on blonde and even asked for modem advice!

Good luck for 2013.

I didn't know Ed Sheeran played the pokes?

Well deserved entry. Good luck for 2013.
