On blonde since 20120, Honeybadger's contribution to the forum stepped up apace in early October when he began a thread. The first post read as follows

"Hi guys. I have decided to start my own thread on Blonde. It is somewhere for me to post my long-winded musings on poker, and perhaps other stuff. No idea what it is going to be like or exactly what I will write about, but chances are most of my posts will be far too long. And for the most part needlessly so. Sorry about that.

My name is Stuart Barnett. Some of you know me already, most don't. I will likely introduce myself properly and give my story/background at a later date. For now though, I just want to make my first ridiculously long post. Hope it is ok."

Well, it was ok. More than ok, such were the topics and concepts discussed. Long winded? Possibly. Too long? Maybe. However invaluable nonetheless. Honeybadger - Stuart Barnett - moved quickly from his live update role of Muppet lookalike

to a "must read" forum contributor either on his "Random Musings" thread

or on a variety of Poker Hand Analysis and Rail threads. Talking often about big issues, how he lives as a poker professional player, what it takes to succeed, ecology of cash games and I could carry on....

Very much an asset to the forum, and once he has got his head back on straight after his current dalliance with 99 bet accumulators in his fledgling sports betting career, as much as the arrival of a new baby in the family, I know I am not the only one looking forward to reading further wisdom. Once I have cleared my diary, got a cup of tea and made myself comfortable first that is. These aren't posts that can be glossed over in ten seconds, as a reader....

Everytime I see a post from Stu I think geeeeeeeeeeeg next hour of my life, but you can't not read his posts as they are always gold. Never met him irl but seems like a very decent fella. Massive respect to anyone who supports a family via this game!

milli, the Nit thread has been superb, it's a great laugh and we're like a bunch of mates in there, love it. Plus it got me my biggest live tourney bink (so far...!) which was an added bonus. Onwards and upwards!
