The first stack I have seen that exceeds 100,000
belongs to Ceri Rees, who is now joined at his table by Sean Randall. Combined DTD Tournament winnings of over £230,000 between the pair of them this year

Nice double up for Rupinder Bedi, up to over 50,000 with 9-9 versus A-Q of, all in pre Luke Grant
Left short, Grant then doubles up through the big blind John Sadler with 8-8 versus 5-3 suited, the 5-3 suited priced in to call the extra
The final number of runners today was 72, with now 49 left with the elimination of Alan Gray in 50th.

Returning CPP hero gets measured for the DTD Hall of Fame
He won the Main event and finished second in a side event
"It was the toughest final table I have ever played. I had JP to my right and Rob to my left. The two Romanian fellas were tough too. In my small blind every time I raised, Rob re-rasied. Every time I three bet JP, he four bet. Really tough, and it felt great to beat them"
I asked him about rumours that he had made a killing on the table games too
"Nah, thats just rumours. The roulette had double zero. I am not stupid. Won a bit playing blackjack but basically once the main event hit the second day I concentrated hard. I knew I was going to go deep because of the hands I was folding such as sets on dangerous flushing boards."
and with that, he went off for a smoke, trailed by a band of acolytes

Dean Czyz has knocked out Michael Howard
Howard short with K-J, Czyz Q-10
Queen first card out
With five tables and 40 left, chip leader at 500-1000 is Julian Thew with about 130,000. He has moved back to Liam Batey's left, and on the same table as Rupinder Bedi
Other top five stacks are
Ceri Rees
Chris Moore
Mark McCluskey
Paul Hardy
all over double average

Julian Thew loses a 90,000 pot to Damien Rhodes
On a board reading Q-4-5-K-5
Rhodes, from UTG, shoves his last 26,000 into a 38,000 pot
Julian a long think, a call and mucks when shown K-Q suited
---
Immediately after Julian and George Bedi are involved in a four way pot
On a
flop it is checked to George on the button who leads for 3,500
Julian is the only caller
check check on the
turn
check check on the
river
George shows down
which is good
