lol Ralph, you reminded me of these Balsa wood planes, they were great fun  Smiley



We used to spend days making the balsa wood ones and then putting tissue-paper over them and coating the whole plane in something highly imflammable called dope before attaching the jetex motor which either wouldn't ignite or blew up generally if launch was achieved and occasionally during said ignition.

There was a game similar to puplous but much better IMO - cant remember the name - but you progresseed through "Epochs" and could be 1 of 4 Gods

The others are Beneath a Steel Sky, Syndicate and Chaos Theory.

Syndicate was actually a really cool game although I don't think anything can touch SWOS.

2nd one is ToeJam and Earl

4th one - shame on you - is Double Dragon

Wonder Boy after that and penultimate is final fight.
