Roads are unfamiliar to many of the riders, narrow & twisty in parts, likely that more blood will be spilt. Despite the lumpy nature of the stage, a fully fit sprinter should make the final sprint. A grumpy & motivated for revenge Cavendish @ 7/1 can't be bad. |

Outsider for the stage, Ramunas Navardauskas.
If Garmin's plans are to mix it up early, Navardauskas could be a surprise threat today. 33/1 available.

Talk on twitter that Cannondale & some of the GC teams will race hard over the climbs to drop the sprinter teams & reduce the chaos of the finish. May need a rethink in running for betting.

Sprinters getting dropped as FDJ increase the pace, maybe for Vichot. |

Cavendish 182, Navardauskas 187, on the stage  Although Vichot was closer at 19th. Today:  Can't argue with Sagan as the strong favourite. I've gone with EW Gerrans at 25/1 & Vichot 80/1. |
