Anyone still fancy any of the GC guys, prices have drifted. Leaders gap from yellow group is by no means safe.

Any penalty likely for Froome?

Starting to think Quintana could have won this had he not gone on the attack so early in those stages in week 1.

Where do you reckon Kreuziger would be if he didnt have to do so much work for Contador? Has dragged him 100's of kilometers up mountains in last few weeks!

Quintana can still win, the next two stages are just as tough as today. It does require Froome to implode, I don't see it happening, but...Quintana & Valverde both looking good. Rodriguez will attack for a podium & looks to be in top form now. We know Contador never gives up, he'll still give it a shot. Interesting few days ahead.

Kreuziger has been a level this year above anything seen before, not sure where that's come from.

Valverde would be in 2nd if not for the unfortunate puncture. He's been so much better than I thought pre race.

Froome cant even be laid on betfair for todaysstage, back is 38.0.   Was yesterday a blip or does he look like he's running out of steam?

Freds paying top 4 today on EW bets if anyone is having a punt. Nieve looks best priuced there @ 12/1

Hi Vic

I think yesterday was just a blip. Not eating properly on the stage can just suddenly empty the tank. But generally no lasting effects for the next day.

Not looked properly at the betting. Nieve is now going for the KOM, so will certainly be in the mix.

Properly a day to hold fire a touch & monitor the in play betting.

Apparently a million people were on the mountain yesterday, Tour hyperbole? Maybe, but I was there in 95 & it was one of my fondest sporting memories, surreal Euro madness. The noise is astonishing, it just builds as the race approaches, the crowd, helicopters, car horns, indescribable really how exciting it was. Watching yesterday it looked just as crazy as ever, great memories.
