Small EW interest in tomorrow, stage 6.
Martin & Quintana will be testing each other out, & the young Brit will wanna get involved.
Adam Yates 66/1.
Despite a crash earlier in the race “There are still some good stages ahead for me. I’ve got my eye on that stage in Devon, although Simon could make the top 10 and I will work for him. But, because he’s my brother, he’ll let me have a bit of a freedom if I’m feeling good. I reckon that stage is going to be a really savage one, but I’ll have a good crack at it.”

Yeah I missed the race, Tour of Britain seems to finish earlier in the day than other tours so keep missing it. Looked up the result and when I saw the name thought Tonji had a nice touch.
Checked the thread and realised it was the other brother.
That aside, awesome turn of speed to leave that field behind, some cracking young uns coming through the sport atm that can climb

World Champs Team Time Trial tomorrow.
57.2km, flat & not technical. Aerodynamics and speed will be the key to victory with the only corners at the start and at the finish in the streets of Florence.

Competed as trade teams, in all other races the riders are in National teams.
OPQS rightly installed as favourites. With the power of Tony Martin & Sylvain Chavanel it's hard to see them being beaten.
I can only see BMC & OGE getting close. Both teams have been putting in specific training for this. OGE team have a track background & may be able to negate the OPQS power advantage with better team aero riding.

Elite Women team time trial, shorter at 42.8km.
Specialized-Lululemon should win. The battle for the other podium spots between ORICA-AIS, Rabo-Liv Giant & Wiggle-Honda.

Poor show from UCI, with no TV coverage, but results:
1 Specialized-Lululemon 51:10.69 2 Rabo +1:11.09 3 ORICA-AIS +1.33.83.
Coverage of the mens TTT on BBC red button or online from 1.30.

U23 ITT looks a straight forward 1/2 for the Aussies Campbell Flakemore & Damien Howson. Both have dominated all season.

Women's Elite Time Trial, live on the red button & online from 1.30 today.
No Judith Arnd this year having retired. Ellen van Dijk has been dominant in recent ITT, her power suits the course.
Outsider for top 3. The controversial Ukrainian Ganna Solovey.

Euskaltel and Alonso agreement collapses. Add in the demise of Vacansoleil, & rumours yesterday that Sojasun will fold, that's plenty of riders & staff out of a job next year.
