bad luck for porte today. Looks like a battle between contador and aru, unless the ITT really throws up a result. still compelling viewing, plenty of twists and turns still to come.

Griepel will be spewing they let the breakaway get clear today, as will anyone who backed him at 5/4 and didn't get a run for their money! fortunately i'm not a griepel man so saved my dough

Busy week for me at http://photolondon.org/

Good to see Betancur getting in the mix for KOM.

Back next week, business permitting.

On catch up.

Today looks a possibility a break could make it, debatable, but a quick scan this morning & Tom-Jelte Slagter @ 125/1 looks a decent sweat.

beteveryday must be listening, into 25/1 with them! been a mad 2nd week, i will have my usual "pieter weening wins a stage of the giro every year" bet as a saver incase the break makes it (200/1). sprint teams should be making sure this is a bunch finish, lotto jumbo might back off given kruijswick is looking to finish as high up in gc as possible, but hofland at 28's is interesting if he can tag onto modolo or nizzolo's train, similar to viviani on one of the early stages, so that'll be my main bet.

Tricky stage to pick a winner, I've gone Betancur & Amador.

Betancur is looking better & better without really attacking for a win. Today or tomorrow? Also Carlos bag the KOM points please  Smiley

Movistar will want to find the opportunity to get Amador into the top 3, todays stage looks good for it.

glgl. gone small on hesjedal, as he'll descend like the wind when others might be a bit more cautious. had him climbing legs going on the mortirolo, so if that hasn't took too much out of him he should go well, 16's. wide open like, 10's the field!

gl nell. Hesjedal, tough as nails this Giro, deserves a stage win.

Gilbert was 50/1. He made my long/short list! Be nice to land on at that price.

Not sure this is a decent betting day. Contador must surely want a stage win.
