It's deffo got legs Rob and a great I initiative. Wish I could have played. I also agree with you, at the time I thought altho it looked like it was cutting up quick, I didn't think it'll be a million miles of a smaller field day one at club.

Good innovation and hope it stays

I don't think these stacks are particularly crazy to be fair.

Last month someone had 400k but with a level less to do it in.  Whilst I'd expect Ben to stay at the top I wouldn't be surprised to see a different name in 2nd spot when we get to day 2.

All it takes is a big flip somewhere or an AA vs KK cooler and you've got another monster stack. Only reason you'll get bigger stacks online is they've had more hands to find a cold deck.

Hopefully DTD will monitor the hands on a few tables tonight and tomorrow to see how they compare. I'm pretty sure they can drop it to 15 mins for the next online one.

Bens stack did involve a significant hand vs trigg with JJJ > 888. Im sure someone has had 700k before now in a deep stack

i played last night did not trouble scorer but would definately play again
was happy with levels and expected only 10 % or less to get through players including me flick it in more easly on  line

only thing i would change would be for some one from dtd to post screen shot on here when level 16 complete so its clear game over

i railed last night and could of posted but think it should be done by some one from dtd

+1

This was a pretty massive inconvenience and definitely seemed a bit ridiculous given the tournament buyin

I played too & thought  the structure was good. No great surprises really. It did seem that players were busting thick and fast from about level 12 but guess that is more to do with online styles and players more prepared to take 10-15 bb flips than they would be Live. (Me included)

Agree that a 15 min clock would probably be closer to 40 mins live.

One thing I did notice though was that  at the breaks the clock wasn't paused so every third level was effectively 15 or 16 minutes. Not a bad thing, just an observation FWIW.

Will definitely play it next month if it runs.

the clock doesnt stop when we are on our break

think thats why  levels are 20 20 25  and repeat

clock not stopping at breaks  was taken care of by levels i think
