I have played a fair bit of STTs although it was a couple of years ago now since I put in volume. I had done some work with SngWiz on when to shove/fold or call shoves and had a reasonably good understanding for 10bbs and under.

I played a few tournaments last night - first session of 2013. I found myself in a 1k runner $3.30 MTT and had a very nice run early on taking the chip lead and staying in the top few in chips. The structure was quite fast with 7min blinds and I ended up ITM but already down to 30bbs with lots of short-stacks around. I think I missed a few calls when I had A high type hands. I don't know enough about calling ranges.

Can anyone point me in the direction of something that can help me?

I really really recommend getting a few hours coaching from somebody to go over the basics with you in these spots... Will 100% be worth the initial investment in the long run!

Really recommend this guy, I have sessions with him regularly.

shane is a good coach and good rates as well

you might also want to check out a fold equity calculator and look at how wide you can reshove over wide LP opens.

The one below is pretty good, all you need is that and pokerstove
