I was going to catch up with that 5Live jump jockeys doc, but I've found a copy of The Untouchables to watch instead.
brilliant tweet yesterday after colour squadron and the "ride" mccoy did not give it
the green and gold army really are untouchable
Aye, the commentator suggested after the race that Colour Squadron should now be on a useful handicap mark for the Festival. Earlier run it's saddle slipped or something didn't it? Definitely one to watch out for.

went to exeter races yesterday, mccoy ride was so blatant its untrue .
funny thing is the stewards had tizzard in with the winner, no mention of having the 2nd in. they are indeed the untouchables.
Remember at newbury one day the stewards had jonjo in and apparently horse was 6/10ths lame lol

The trouble with watching out for it is, it maybe next time, time after or a few times down the road, they have plenty of time.

id be very careful of colour squadron, usually travels suprememly well and finds zilch. Mccoy said after module beat it when CS saddle slipped that he didnt think he would have won regardless. I think this is testament to the horse not finding much when push comes to shove.

no argument with that at all the horse is quirky maybe even a complete dog
still does not excuse the ride which coupled with the big drift pre race was at the very least worthy of an enquiry and if it had not been the green and gold colours would probably have had one

My mate has several horses with Hobbs and half the stable has the cough at the mo.
Not sure what to make of it, cos McCoy hardly being clever, he strangled it for half the race then it seemed to fly last furlong or so, which is hardly shielding it from anyone

"Our vet Paddy Kelly came to check him out today and everything else was perfect, his bloods and all but he has picked up a lung infection," Casey said.
"I knew something was up on Saturday. He wasn't striding out the way he usually does down the back straight. That wasn't the real Flemenstar.
"He's 90 per cent certain to miss Cheltenham. To be honest I'd say it's practically 100 per cent as I can't imagine there would be enough time to have him ready. We will more than likely try to get him ready for the two-and-a-half miler at Aintree [Melling Chase] now. That looks the best option for him.
"It's obviously a blow but he's a young horse with plenty of years left in him. He'll come back from it. I've no doubt about that."
from the r post
i cant quite believe this a horse with a serious lung infection but still nearly won despite the jockey taking a pull and a change of tactics being used

Agree with Horsey. When horses are ill, they dont get beat in Grade 1s by a length or two, and travel as well as he did. Ok I wasnt sat on the horse, but have seen it enough to know he was travelling rather nicely most of the way.
He didnt stay. End of. Move on, and find new mountains to conquer Mr Casey. Plenty out there almost as lucrative.
That Aintree race looks perfect, and also the day my week long Stag do rolls into town after 4 days of golf/casinos/gambling. Perfecto!

champion hurdle market suspended and grandouet removed from ladbrokes betting, does this make it more likely that MTOY goes for the champion hurdle

Nicky Henderson just reported on Grandouet receiving treatment and is doubtful for his kingwell hurdle outing but he should be ok for champion hurdle
