15.10pm: Gascoigne doubles
Ian Gascoigne promised to play a tight, aggressive game when we spoke to him yesterday, and his patience just paid off – though he had to sweat a big draw to double through.

Max Silver was the man left rueing his misfortune – Silver peeling an UTG raise from Gascoigne for 4.5k with -Qd.

A flop of could scarcely have been better for Silver and he was happy to take on Gascoigne for his stack.

Gascoigne was nominally ahead with pocket kings, though a host of outs were available for Silver to hit. The and on the turn and river however missed him completely and he was left handing over a big chunk of his stack to Gascoigne who moves to a little over 180,000 – Silver left with a still playable 160,000…

Who is on commentary?

What's going on with the holecards? The players appear to keep showing them even when their bet is not called. Is this some rule of the tournament? Or am I just imagining it?

Who is on commentary?

Think it's Ben Jenkins, Rebecca McAdam and one other.

They all agreed to it to stop the arms race of people texting hands. Apparently.

His name is Ian Gascoigne

He's got a balding head

But when he check-raises you, you'll wish you'd stayed in bed.
