Newbury Racecourse's Best Dressed Gent. And What?

« on: January 28, 2013, 09:45:45 PM »

On Wednesday evening the Father and I depart for Deauville to play in the France Poker Series out there.

A number of Blondes have bought a piece of our action over here: http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=60010.0

....and as promised here is the thread where we will write something of a travel blog hopefully chronicling a rather successful outing. We meant to do something like this last time we went out and never got round to it which rankles the Father to this day so....here it is.

In the meantime, for those of you who live under a rock and don't know Ian 'Credible Hundred' Gascoigne, here he is:

For those of you who have had the good fortune to not yet meet me, I look something like this:

And for those who have never been, Deauville casino looks something like this:

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have here....

Is it true you let Vokes from off of University Challenge borrow your jumper?

Generally dad, though alarmingly using father more and more often. Whilst originally it was ironic, it's increasingly organic.

Qui traduira cette semaine?

Moi. This said, nothing quite beats the amusement of dumping my dad in front of a frog in a relatively awkward social situation (where he thinks I will speak for us) and then standing mute. Simple pleasures.

Thanks Ironside. Hoping to do Blonde and stakers proud.

Failing that, this thread should give me a remarkably efficient platform to take the piss out of Ian for a week or so.

Just wanted to lock up first page in what is likely the best thread blonde has ever seen. Even going to give this a new tab on my phone browser so I don't have to open up diary forum and see my friends/my diaries falling at the weyside
