Great thread, what I've loved is Ian's humility and generally self-depreciating tone from his updates, as well as Ed's descriptive entries helping to bring the experience to life.
I'm sure many of us reading through enjoy these stories, living high stake poker experiences vicariously through another player's journal, wishing it was us! This journal has to rank highly for bringing that feeling of 'being there' to the reader

Well that was an ' Excellente Adventure' boys and girls wasn't it ? Never had so much fun since Waddles' free kick in the FA Cup Semi Final in 1993. I have had the most amazing fun. Pretty pissed off it had to end with a Gascoigne brain fart with 55. But eventually your natural personality just has to come through. With 4 left I was so obviously the 4th best player. High light was obviously the massive bluff hand. Steve O'dwyer jail it was just awesome and seeing as he is some kind of sick superstar I was happy to take that. He two Irish guys were incredibly strong but I think I managed to bamboozle them. They are talking about the J2 hand now in the bar....lol. If I had held my head a bit longer who knows? It gave me immense pride to think people were actually bothering to watch the stream.Somehow my secretary found out and she was watching at home which is hilarious. I am not sure in future I will agree with the showdown rule. It's apparently to stop guys getting info from mates watching the live stream. The show down rule means everyone has the same information and what an eye opener it was! Seeing how light they raise and reraise. I fly back tomorrow morning and the next highlight is going to Hillsborough to watch Wednesday in the first home match.I am taking Alice and a few friends so that will be great fun. So let me finish with a big thank you to everyone who took a look at this blog. I really enjoy Blonde and the sense of community it provides. Hope this has added a bit to that.
Love and rockets. Remember try to be nice to everyone. Everyone has a story.
Until the next trip.
