Short but sweet. Get it in with Ac8cJh10h in a 3b pot on 69Qcc
Against the chap in the unironed checked shirt with 'novelty' tie who has ck raised with JJ57cc, as you do.
Bricks. Bricks everywhere.

Up to 225. UTG raises to 12k. I push for 100ish on the button with AJ. Villain has QQ. Jack on the flop and another on the turn sees the double up.

@MtSpewmore I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Well that's that then. Out in 39th place from 681 runners. I think he would have folded a lot of hands in that spot but obviously not QQ. Heading back to the UK this evening now as there is little point in hanging around. A fantastic comp and structure but like all these events it's all about top three spots for the money. Thanks for the follow. We will be doing the admin for the lucky 10 who pick up about €12 each. So off to the airport it is.
