No pattern, just not enough hours in the bloody day & total lack of organisation.

I was up at 5am yesterday, & apart from 6 hours in the car, I never stopped doing stuff for a single minute. And I still left a bunch of stuff on the "to-do" list. Today, I think I will need to spend 4 hours catching up on PM's. I enjoy everything I do, but this 24 hours in a day malarky, & the need to sleep, is all wrong.

I've spent the last couple of pages implying I've got a lot of other stuff on and that this has dropped a little on the list of priorities, so I can only imagine where a quiz features on your list. Really not a problem in the slightest, Tikay. If no one entered, I might be more inclined to reflect!

It's going to be fun enough when I start announcing that some answers aren't in the particular dictionary being used for this quiz without attacking those who didn't or couldn't take part.

This seemed like such a straightforward, convivial idea...

9pm, lexicographers, logophiles and, if we must, cunning linguists.

Be there or be SRAQUE.

LANGUAGE, n. The music with which we charm the serpents guarding another's treasure

Is there anything more beautiful than this definition by Ambrose Bierce in his Devil's Dictionary?

Find out at 9.
