Other than once, many years ago, on a 50/1 cash table, you've avoided being on my table, do you think this has contributed more to your success than it has to my, somewhat more limited achievements?

How much time do you spend studying the game? What form does that study take? Do you and Shola study together and does it help to have a partner who is also good at the game?

No question in particular.
When I re-started playing a couple of years ago, in my first tournament back at DTD I was in seat 1 and in seat 7 sat Simon.
As in the OP, I was fooled by the innocent look and pegged him as a young internet novice.
Made the mistake of playing a couple of pots out of position to him and got the shit kicked out of me.
Never got to showdown with him and never won a chip off him.
Snapped me back to reality quickly.

Good to see him doing well in the big games, and it wasn't just because I was rubbish (although they're not mutually exclusive obviously)

Phil Hellmuth invites you to whitemagic.com to become a video maker/ his protégée. Both require you to wear huge Team White Magic NFL Jerseys for a multitude of photos?

Accept or decline to both? How much do the jerseys matter?

One favour to ask, don't really know everyones knicknames so if I do know you could you put your name down with the question, will be easier to answer if I know who i'm talking to. tyty.

Hi Simon

I have a question.  You went from being a decent player and then over a period of six months or so I noticed that your game improved considerably, making you a very decent player.  What would you say happened to make that improvement?  Was it anything in particular you did or just the natural progression of your game?

I think I just grew up a bit to be honest, stopped trying to be the hero and get the 4bet shove with J8s through and concentrate on what was the best decision each hand. Tournaments are about getting the money, sounds obvious I know but so many really good players make such high variance decisions when they're deep in comps and miss out on the money. When actually if they just play ABC and use they're natural edge they will do loads better and win more money as a result.

Which is best Leeds or Nottingham and why?

Notts. Only because I live they're five years and was so used to everything and all my friends. I'm sure Leeds will be great, so many heroes live here.

Favourite Subway order?

Italian B.M.T, Italian bread, mayo an lettuce.....sigh really fancy one now.

Toughest oppo in former stable K & K?

hahha good question! They're all very good. Some are better at different aspects of the game. Stato is the best online, we all go to him for advice on spots and hands. but Personally I find the large ginger one the toughest to play against, esp in deep cash games. He's always super comfortable in hands and just puts you in tough spots all the time.
