Hello
Sooooooooooooooooo hard to please everyone, do we do unlimited re-buys, freezeouts, 1R 1A, do we do a mixture of all formats, and what price:prize ratio do we do, is it 1 in 20, 1 in 10 or 1 in 5 players get a seat.
For Mega Sats 20 + seats - the "norm" is 1 in 5, for example PokerStars are doing a 20 seat GTE UKIPT sat and they have pitched it at £150 + £12 to win £700 + £70, this could also be a £75 + £8 1R 1A and get the same average spend, which opens it up to a few more players who have not qualified in the feeders.
For 50 seats, we did the £30 1 R 1A, the average spend has been £58 - £62 per player, its' is about 1 in 5.5 average, personally, I think this is better than a £60 FO option, which excludes players who want to have 1 bullet of £30, I also think its better than a £30 freezeout, because that is only a 1 in 11 chance and less seats would be on offer.
We can do anything we want satellite wise/ format wise, however I do think we may be close to "optimum" with this 1R 1A format for Mega Satellites,
however
the daily satellites for the first 3 weeks should be cheaper IMO, offering 1 in 10 chances or 1 in 20, a £15 1R 1A would offer a 1 in 11 chance - maybe we could do these for the first 3 weeks then every bankroll has a choice? I prefer 1 in 5 personally because I have limited time to try again, but everyone has difference preferences.
Having moved to ipoker Simon is going to review all of the satellites, so this is all good feedback for us, criticism helps also because often its warrented and we have missed something, we do have a small hands-on team and do overlook/miss things.
Cheers Rob
P.S. Sausage -these guys are correct with the poker maths, these sats have been are great + ev/value (DTD have been effectively giving £336 seats away for £224)
P.P.S. Aaron - noooooooooooooo comment

This is a forum, someone else's view of value is different to everyone else's.
The fact that its likely to cost £93 puts me off personally. Everyone has a different view of everything, but generally I am a direct buyin anyway.
I probably am used to other sats being a lot cheaper and worth 10-20x more than buyin, etc. stars and so on.
If 90% of the field are happy with it, then keep it going, which it looks like it is!

Lets do some basic maths ...so based on 150 runners last night
50 seats guaranteed x £336 = £16,800
Lets assume everybody has a buy in and an add on = £63 x 150 = £9450
I know there are variables but feel its fair guesstimating so overlay =
£7350
x 4 nights = quite a lot
Great Value in my eyes but no doubt there will be "other view points"
Can't argue with that surely !

Absolute joke tonight, worse than boss. £90 for a £336 seat where genting is $55 for £430 seat, I know where my money is going next time. You do great things for poker but I'm sorry, your online sats wont be getting another penny from me.
Just lol at this, its the best value you will find anywhere. You do know you can enter feeder sats for £2 if you are worried about paying to much? And they are running all day!
I don't think dtd need to change anything in there sat program personally, 1R 1A is the perfect solution to meet most peoples requirements. You of course can not please everyone, some people just don't see the value right in front of there eyes. (you silly sausage)

but the fact you chose "disney songs on youtube" over HEM and then lost 12 bis when you know you should lose 4 maximum just shows a massive sign of disrespect

I'm sure this has been covered, but with regards to the old software, do I just have to withdraw my measly funds and then deposit on the new account or will they be carried over?

The former, create a new account and withdraw/deposit. the funds aren't carried over

It is your opinion it is value, guy.
I'm not sure.
It's a harsh buyin for a satellite, but I suppose that's why they guarantee the amount of seats.
you're just wrong. value it IS.
expensive relative to buyin maybe, but it is still providing incredible value.
with some of the play I saw yesterday I can see how even herbie wins a seat so regularly, I had to check I wasn't on the play money tables throughout.
Are the seats transferable?
first time I have played in months and the standard is just the same as always. I have mates that struggle to spell poker and they have all got seats into this. I really struggle to see how it can be anything other than value when there is so much overlay.
There must be 20 people each night who don't even make it to the add on. My advice would be to late reg at the last minute. If you spend the full £90 you will have 20k chips at 10pm and be around 35th. From there its just a case of finding the spots to increase your stack comfortably then Roberts your mothers brother.
Gl everyone playing tonight.

Please deposit £20 in and then withdraw the full balance - this is best way to clear the account
We would need to do this when we close the software down in June so may as well get it out of the way now
Thanks

Anyone with a bowl amount in their account can always try and spin it up on black jack. Saves a lot of hassle
