I agree mantis I think the game should be rake-free
Tesco self-checkouts are fucking ridiculously tilting, I refuse to use them on the principals you outlined.
Confirmed beyond a joke, abs worst idea ever.
yeah. when it says "unexpected item in bagging area", kicking it hard just gets you slapped on the back of the head and longer wait while you have to be moved to a different till

I am on the website looking for the live stream for 2/5 game mentioned, but I dare not look back at previous pages if there are spoilers.
Would appreciate any linkage.

Yeah, banana meat* . Weigh everything through as loose fruit or veg.
Some of my workmates were at it when we were away. Highly amusing when one of them got caught putting a cooked chicken through as loose onions. Pleaded ignorance and got away with it though.
Not something I would do personally.

They're normally pretty empty, so you can just smash your stuff through and be out of the door lively!

Can you hear me, Mother?
lol, whover selects the players next time someone remind them live streams are supposed to be entertaining. Really, Rob tried his best to save a sinking ship, and without Kalmer it could have been suicude watch. Watching AQ folded pre to a squeeze from K3 was hillarious though, Alex you uber nit, really...??
My comment was simply because it had been suggested that the thread was locked, & I wanted to test it.
I don't wish to argue, but I don't think those players were there to entertain, they were playing for serious money (relatively), we should not expect them to ham it up for a non-paying audience, that would be the tail wagging the dog.
It was a 2/5 game, no? When I agree it may be a lot of money for some, I got to disagree it's entertainment (or should be), it's there to promote DTD surely, and maybe the players, those playing underrolled or folding everything are no good for the game or the viewers, paying or not.
I'm afraid I cannot agree with that.
Players are entitled to play tight if they wish. It may be out of fashion, but it's perfectly fine if that is how someone plays.
Should we really expect a guy, who is normally selective with his starting hands, to plonk down several thousand quid, & be told "spray it about son, we have an audience"?
No I agree, what you're saying though isn't what my comments we're supposed to highlight. You just need to choose a better line up, if it's being streamed the viewers are asked to watch at least put some charachters in the game, I know you got them at DTD, I've seen them. There's a chance to do somehting to promote the club, this stream last night was just a cash game that happened to be streamed as George said, and that's a shame as it's been done so many times, the International live streams were fun, the live from the bike is full of charachters, so why couldn't there be a bit of thought and creativeness put into this one.
It's early days though, plenty of chance for DTD to redeam themsleves and make it a stream worth viewing from what is the UK's premiere groundbreaking poker club.
Waste of an opportunity if now..
DTD don't need to redeem themselves at all. Quite a ludicrous comment. They are trying something new, and will no doubt develop it if they think streaming the cash has a future
In terms of characters, the game had some of the biggest characters DTD has, and would have been close to the line up I would have chosen. Its up to DTD to find a line up it wants to stream, not the players to entertain once they are on it!
Very harsh to call a reasonable comment out as ridiculous, I;m clearly not the only one who thought the same. But really what they did wasn't up to the usual standards, and to back up the ridiculous comment with confirming my thoughts regarding player choice shows not only a contradictory stance, but also disprespect a viewrs attempt to make some constructive criticism, I speak my mind and sometimes that initial reaction/view can be altered with rerason. In this case tighty with all due respect you#re way off the mark, ridiculous, and unreasonable abuse for what reason...

To be fair would of been interesting to have a waiting list and vote people off, loads of things to change inc lineup/potential ante/structure etc but it was the first time so cant really criticise as it can only get better and hopefully will keep progressing.
If it had the same lineup everytime then zzzzzzz
Wp dtd and all involved for a cracking first attempt though.

Vote offs are ridiculous for the players. They're getting nothing out of it as it is. It's a live stream
For FREE not a TV show. Can't believe all the hate. If its boring u switch it off
