Personally I'd have no interest in watching a stream of a 1/1 game. A 5/10 game with Rob Yong involved, much more interesting, the time that Rob was there was good viewing.

yeah this I agree with. Rob played his part very well and a long with Richard really did make the stream. They were like the two pantomime dames who wanted to stop Cinderella going to the ball and their cunning fan backfired. We need to have more people who are mentally unstable who good blow at anytime. That would be good viewing too  |

the problem is a cash game is so much more nuanced than a tournament with start/mid/end gambool points, at the end of a donky one donk is crowned the super king of run good donks on the day and people can watch and understand whos won, whereas cash is so much deeper stacked and less gambly. Hence it isn't as good for the general public to view. reducing the stakes allows for people to play spewier, you could make it 500/1k but no one could afford to play, having multiple people in a game who are taking shots really isn't going to make for a good game in any way, and nor is it reasonable to have to expect Rob to run high stakes games and come in and punt just to make sure it's interesting for the viewers. think that some 7 handed PLO has alot more options for fun and interesting pots, due to the nature of lots more flops and more post flop play. + lots of pot repot fishyness where the dealer then runs out 3 boards etc. |
