Hi,

UKIPT starts tomorrow with Day 1A. We are expecting a large field for the UKIPT but we wanted to point out that Day 1C is likely to be extremely busy and if you do not buy-in in advance then you do run the risk of being turned away as we have a cap of 400 players per day (plus alternates).

If you are available to play Day 1A or Day 1B it would be much appreciated if you play these days and, if you can only play Day 1C then we do advise you register in advance via PokerStars or The Vic.

The full tournament schedule for the festival is available via the link below and there will be a free shuttle service between The Grosvenor Victoria and The Hippodrome Casino for all players:

http://www.ukipt.com/tournaments/london/

We still have satellites for both the UKIPT and EPT available online (UKIPT satellites are only available for Day 1A or Day 1B).

Many thanks,

Jamie

Hey Jamie

What is event 2 all about - a £100 sat for the high roller with €50 rebuy and addon? I assume the € is a typo - is the 50 right or should that be 100?

Hi,

Yes the € is a typo.

The tournament is a £100 entry with £50 rebuys (rebuys and add on are half the price of the initial entry). It is a satellite format we use for the high roller at almost every UKIPT.

Cheers,

Jamie

Hello Jamie.  Can you just confirm if the plo8 on the 12th march is just one day.  Cheers

Hi,

Can confirm it is scheduled as a one day event.

All events are subject to TD discretion but it is unlikely to change.

Thanks

We will be playing 11 levels on Day 1s meaning that play will finish at approximately 1am.

The days are longer than normal UKIPTs as we need to ensure we can accommodate all remaining players into a single Day 2

We are still accepting buy-ins for Day 1C although spaces are limited now and will almost certainly fill up before Thursday. If you can only play 1C you really do need to register in advance to guarantee a seat.

I was told it was Noon until 8pm as with all UKIPTs and I have made plans for afterwards.

 Pity nobody mentioned it.

I assume the Vic will bring food to the table and then give everyone an hour to hang around the second we have all eaten?

(If they didn't do that and just had a 15 minute break, you could get the day done before the tube stops which is a big factor for many players).

The PokerStars United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) is in the British capital for the UKIPT London festival.

UKIPT London will run from March 5 through to March 10 and will split its time between the Grosvenor Victoria Casino and The Hippodrome casino, where yesterday the PokerStars LIVE poker lounge was opened.

Although the UKIPT has had a stop in London previously, this is the first time a full UKIPT festival has taken place in “The Big Smoke,” and with the European Poker Tour, World Poker Tour, Sky Poker Tour and PKR in the capital over the next few week, there is every chance that UKIPT London could be massive.

UKIPT London schedule
Date   Time   Tournament   Buy-In   Venue
Tue 5 Mar   12:00   UKIPT Main Event Day 1A   £700+£70   The Vic
Wed 6 Mar 12:00   UKIPT Main Event Day 1B   £700+£70   The Vic
Thu 7 Mar   12:00   UKIPT Main Event Day 1C   £700+£70   The Vic
Fri 8 Mar   12:00   UKIPT Main Event Day 2       The Vic
Sat 9 Mar   12:00   UKIPT Main Event Day 3       The Vic
Sun 10 Mar   12:00   UKIPT Main Event Final Table       The Vic

live updates from the £770 buy-in Main Event on the PokerStars Blog, while I will provide you with a recap of the previous day’s action on here
