She was game tbf, as was her mate.

One of my favourite moments when these two lovely ladies were at the table was when i'd put her all in and once she understood what was actually going on and deciding whether to call, her mate leans over, picks the cards off the table and shouts 'you aint f*cking calling that'.

Stay classy Manchester.

I assume you rejected on the basis of them being pre 50 years old?

Got a phone call from my dad just now, pretty shit news. He's being moved to another company but still working in the same place from October 1st, obviously he's worried that it's going to go shit and he doesn't like change, he's also 64 and has serious lung problems so can't do any labouring like most would for a company that specializes in petitioning.

If it goes terribly and he ends up not having a job from October 1st most likely he'll end up retiring and I'll have to take over on probably double/triple bills I'm currently paying, if this happens not sure what I'm gonna do poker wise but it'll likely mean an early retirement and use the roll for more important things.

Wow, very sorry to hear this. My dad was forced into retirement while I was in university. I thought it meant I'd have to drop out and help pay the bills but it just meant working a bit harder. I still helped with the bills by taking on two jobs and I managed to stay in school.

Hopefully, your dad will also get a severance package for retiring due to medical reasons. If not, you can always try to balance poker and a part-time position. I wouldn't think about retiring just yet, and I'm sending well wishes for your pa's health. x

Hopefully it'll all be fine like I said he's still employed by this new company and still has the same position, I just hope they don't force him to labour or annoy him as he'll rage quit.

Aaron if you wanna troll about have some balls to keep what you say posted instead of deleting it in the first 5 minutes.

You can repost it in here if you want, mods don't read my diary as I'm not very interesting.
