Finished at about the same time tonight.

Just open-folded AA, which was a bit weird - but it was the absolute bubble and no need to play anything.

You get a seat Rich?

I was in 49th position with around 6-7BB I think the random hand dealer set me up to fall as they wanted people out. The all in had QQ I called and went out as didn't hit

Sounds like RNG collusion.

The point is he could have had  two hearts two spades's and won too - we have to hit to beat any pocket pair which is a huge part of the villain's range, creating an avoidable flip against a stack that can eliminate us. As played you can just fold and pick a better spot to do the shoving yourself, imo. Also, 6-7 bb's is still enough to fold in a satellite when avoiding putting our survival at risk is paramount. Given you were 49th/60 i'm presuming the average bb's was prob not much than 12-13 bb's i.e. so the relative value of each bb counts more. I don't think by any means your call can ever be that bad btw, usually going to be flipping with a view to locking up a seat. But given your stack/position you had just enough to pick a better spot. This also doesn't take into account players (ideally above you) busting in cooler spots or simply through poor play

Sounds like correct satellite play on the bubble
