Ali Mallu raises UTG with A-Q

Ian Gascoigne flats in the small blind with A-J

They see a flop of Q-4-3 two spades, with Ian holding one spade

Ian check calls a c-bet

Ace on the turn

Ian bets, called

blank on the river Ian bets again, with top two no flushes possible Ali only calls again to go over 300,000 and very close to the chip lead, behind Terry Plummer

Aaron Brunskill opens to 5000

Danny Tran calls

In the big blind Gavin Roberts takes up the story

(I hear all the bad beats, I should charge...)

"I know he's at-it. I have 100,000 and A-j. I'm not gonna muck around against the kid so I shove it in. He calls me straight away, straight away tighty"

Imagine Les Dawson at this point for the expression on his face

"he calls straight away with Ace-Ten for 100,000 and it comes 10-10-9. ******** ******* tighty the kid played terribly and got lucky and..."

I glaze over at this point but you get the picture

Moving into contention, with 63 left on seven tables at the start of Level 14

James Keys over average for the first time today I think with 140,000

Tom Kugelstadt too, 150,000+

Jason Herbert up to 140,000 from his low of 4,000 earlier

Yinanis Liperis just dobled to over 100,000

Average is 117,000, with two levels to play

blinds are 1500-3000

Top two against bottom set for second time today. Down to 100k

this was against Andrew Tuxworth J-9 v 7-7 on J-9-7

Just now Bedi opened K-K to 6,000

small blind called

Mo Ashraq in the big blind makes it 38,000

Bedi shove for 90,000

Mo calls with A-J from 150,000

Door card King

K-Q-2-10 on the turn to knock Bedi out after no pair up on the river.....

Its a table that will give me nightmares later

Herbert
Chinese Frankie
Brunskill

Chattering away, ten to the dozen

All with chips.

Could be a long day tomorrow, though no doubt entertaining to read updates and watch the stream

Brunskill opens to 6,000

Danny Tran 21,000

In the big blind Chinese Frankie 46,500

Brunskill folds

Tran ponders and Frankie starts talking

"I will show you. I don't bluff. Do what you like but I will show you" and variants upon this for several minutes

Att his point then we can assume that Frankie does not have Aces, though I almost asked Jason if FGrankie did have Aces

eventually Tran folds showing 9-9

Frankie shows K-K and confides in his railbirds that he did not want a call. Which I had guessed from the speechplay

He is on the verbose table of moderator doom with Jason and Aaron and is short with under 100,000

Average is 136,000 heading into the final level of the night 2000-4000
