It's pretty obvious the point he is making is age verification should take place after you deposit not depending on whether you withdraw. And it's obviously a good point as all sites make it hard to withdraw but easy to deposit
Il add all gambling sites do the same not just poker sites so its a problem across all sites not just dtd

Its standard across many sites.
When you come tomorrow find Nicola on the desk just inside the club and she'll be able to take a copy of your ID and do the verificiation process for you there and then
There is also a "cash out at the club" facility, see

I don't really care whether it's an industry standard (I don't remember stars doing it but I regged with them like 8 years ago or something so maybe), it's pretty deplorable. I see it in bookies sometimes - a young-looking guy walks in, plays the machines or makes a bet, wins, and then gets told he can't cashout because he doesn't have ID on him. It's pretty deplorable behaviour from the gambling industry.
In any case I barely play online at all anymore and I recognize that this is much more likely to be iPoker than DTD and I have nothing but good words to say of my experiences with Rob and Simon and the club and am looking forward to the comp today, apologies if I got up anyone's backside about this. About to jump on a train in an hour.....

Another satisified customer FFS. Goodness me - and on THIS thread where we have added £45,000 so far to this Monte Carlo qualifers and you are going to use words like deplorable and DTD in the same paragraph - and youre still gonna turn up to my club today and play? It takes longer to come on here and whine /post a few times than to just verify your age, everyone knows we are just a skin and dont set any of these rules. I have to remember you are the minority, 99% of those than know us support and trust what we do - and wouldn't think we would do anything deplorable, however people that do not know DTD, especially potential new customers through all the ISPT marketing - well they may be put off by your negative comments.

Hi, finally bagged a seat and gonna play today but I cant get to the club till after 6. What is best course of action to late register using my online token so as to not get blinded away in earlyt levels. Can I just reg at club using my online ticket? Ty ......... PS @ wazza it is an inconvenience at sending ID etc but that is all it is, and yes it prob wud be better to ask for it before they take deposits etc but its not DTD fault who cudn b more helpful and as Rob says u overreacting is not gonna help. GL I sure it will b sorted asap.

Can confirm this isn't the case at all (with all major ones at least). I used to work in a bookies and we were really strict with ID. As soon as someone who we suspected was underage set foot in the shop they were snap called over to show proof of age. Can possibly imagine is being the case with independent bookies tho.

I have instructed the card room that online qualifers and online DBI's recieve their full 30k stacks when they arrive, whatever level of late reg that is. This is the same as a non online late reg player. Your chip stack will not be blinded away - relax Newey:)

Does this mean I should reg online before I turn up late and just collect my chips when i go to my seat?
