I recently listened to these two podcasts and thought they were incredible. The guy interviewing is very good and asks some interesting questions. Neil Channing should write a book, he sure can talk. It is 2 hrs 47 mins of pure gold and great gambling stories. I never really knew much about Julian Thew before listening to the podcast. He talks about his start in poker through to his deal with sky and sounds like a nice bloke.

There are also other podcasts with moorman and devilfish that are worth listening to. I am working my way through them while out running.

Listened to Channings and its really interesting, I really like when he talks about being ill and having to build up his bankroll again. Gives you a good understanding of where he is today. I always assumed he was loaded.

Write that book, please. I guarantee you will sell at least 1 copy.

Hello mate,  hope all is well :-)

I would buy the book as well. Neil has some great stories to tell. I remember I read a forum post a while back that mentioned a guy planning to write a book about the British poker scene. I would love to learn more about guys like John Duthie, Ben Roberts, Ram Vaswani, John Shipley, etc, etc, etc. The list could go on and on. Reading stories about 21 year olds playing $500/1000 is all very good, but I would much prefer to read a book about a guy who plays 'normal' games and makes a living playing poker within the limits of regular people. A guy who can buy a new Ferrari every day but  doesn't shave yet doesn't really grab my attention. However a guy who plays 40 hrs a week in a cash game in London to pay the rent and buy food is much more interesting to me. Perhaps I am a bit strange though, lol

2. Pretty sure we had this chat some time back Neil. Don't keep us waiting to long.

I like Channing's diet.

Dont eat anything for 3-4 days, then eat crap, drink fizzy pop for a few days, repeat rinse...

Nearly die..

An adventure and a half that.

The Hellmuth one doesn't work for me for some reason. It downloads but nothing appears anywhere on my laptop. I am going to ask a friend to download it for me today while at work. Out of all of them the Jungleman podcast hasn't tempted me to dl yet. I just get the feeling it will be the same story as all the other young online guys. Deposit $50 and a year later play $200/400. Make a million and claim to be the best poker player of all time. After I work through the others, I might go back and listen to it.
