Small tin with 2 toast for me.

Large tin gets shared between me and 2 kids.

Cold beans?Huh?Huh? Urgghhh

Heinz beans still taste the best though.

Ketchup in the fridge.

Might as well put your slippers in the oven and your TV remote in the bread bin.

What's wrong putting sauces in the fridge?

This is the most divisive issue on blonde, so we should probably agree to disagree.

Nothing wrong with it because the fridge is where it belongs.  /debate

But before you fob me off is it harmful in the fridge? Does the cold kill the flavour? Does leaving it out the fridge add something?

Don't suppose it makes any difference. It isn't in the fridge when you buy it, so I don't put it in the fridge when I bring it home. I don't worry about preserving it. Tomato sauce doesn't last Chez Tal.

source: Heinz Ketchup
Quote
Q: Do I need to refrigerate Ketchup?
A: Because of its natural acidity, Heinz® Ketchup is shelf-stable. However, its stability after opening can be affected by storage conditions. We recommend that this product, like any processed food, be refrigerated after opening. Refrigeration will maintain the best product quality after opening.

That's best quality - not necessarily best flavour; cold suppresses the flavour of everything.
