went to gala (leeds) bank holiday Monday nice game just over 4k for winner.Blinds are 1k/2k with ante off 300 but not 100% sure on ante,
So the hand,am in the big blind 9 at table 2 fold 1 person goes allin for 20600 ,so at this point I look at my cards and I look at akos so at this point it folded round to the small blind who goes allin for just over 70k,and turns over his card before I acted and shows aq so with your ak what would u do fold or call ?and I had also just over 70k as well with 40/50 people left

If you are a gala reg then spend the next half hour trying to kill SBs hand and arguing the toss, or if you are a normal person you call instantly and flip your cards.
Irrespective of what the OR shoves you have an insurance sidepot vs a known crushed hand, wtf is there to decide upon? (Unless I have misread the whole post)

No i called silly not to,and got a load off verbal off him for calling lol, the first bloke had 99 and hit a set,got down to 14 and min cashed got it all in in a 500k pot with aces other had ak and hit 4 to flush lol

y have i done something wrong like You've not done anything wrong as such, but if you're seriously not sure if you should call in that hand, you've got a wee problem. The wee problem being, stakers might struggle to part with their money when you go looking for it. |

No i never had a problem with calling to be honest if he had not turned over aq i think in the end i would have still called it was just the agro i got from him and one or 2 on the table saying i should have never called because i already seen his cards that y a was asking.
