They are a cigarette substitute. If they didn't use it, then they would have to go out for a smoke. Almost everyone I have seen using them has annoyed someone at the table by the vapour being blown towards them, albeit probably by accident.
Like tittybeam said, smokers are just dumb, and should be punished accordingly, by being made to go outside, either for having a real smoke or the e-fag.
Ps. I am a smoker.

I am a reformed non smoker.
I have never used an electronic fag,
But I think they are fantastic, great post by honeybadger.
Much rather see this than smell fags on clothes & breath etc.

Well where i work u can't even smoke them indoors u have to go outside with the ones that do smoke lol and my wife one off the one that smoke the vip cig

I'm an ex somker and I for one hate the things, but I hated them more when I did smoke. If you can't last two hours with out a cig then fuck off out side like I used to

I have noticed that my throat is very slightly affected when people use those things.
There are references above to 'vapours' and 'steam', implying that it is pure water vapour. It isn't.

I have been addicted to e-cig and nicotine patches for years now. Imagine my suprise when I found these little white sticks that mimic e-cigs. All you do is light one end and inhale through the other a puff of smoke. And you don't need to use them all day. Just about once an hour (more if your drinking)
