He's peeled pre out of 11bb's then donked 2bb's. In game feel going to be huge for which option you go with cos his line is just so unconventional.

I raise and commit vs donk bettor. Obviously dependent on guy behind but he should get out the way like 90% time

Interested in the discussion as I can't come up with a compelling argument for anything other than folding here.

1) he ha 11 bbs so jams any pair pre
2) he doesnt play 7x like ths
3) bunch of dead money in the pot

I get all of the above. My rationale is that I'm still an underdog to a wide range (any 2 random clubs, 5, 7)  and his 11bb still puts a big dent in me at a point where i want better value out of my chips. Are you going to say how it played out?

He rarely/never turns up with a 7 here, plus he might fold a 5 to a raise as we rep everything that beats a 5. Even if he doesn't we have deece equity in relation to pot odds

Folding to this donk bet and his stack is too passive on this board.

Also unlikely he plays clubs this way. If you want to get your money in with a flush draw you want as much fold equity as possible. Donking here won't give you that unless you donk for pot. Villian can turn up with some random holdings here and like I said at best he has a 5. Surprised to hear some reputable players saying its a trivial fold.

i refer you to cambridge alex on the john black cash hand!

i can think of at least 2 pairs that he peels pre off 11bbs (and that he continues with in this way)

We have risked 2bb so far in this hand, i dont really understand how this is anything but a fold, people do weird shit ALOT. I dont expect him to be donk folding alot if at all. We just dont do that well vs his gii range. I disagree that he will jam all pairs pre, people like to see a flop with their 66 wait for no ace no king then go with it.

Noone has mentioned our stack yet, if we get it in and lost were down to 20bb which is prob soon to be 16/17bb. Stack preservation is a much better option than anything else here especially with 25ppl left in a billion runner field that is soft as anything.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Kinda would be prepared to risk 2bb carrying on with 180k in the pot. Would flat many strong hands here hoping to get aggro sb jamming. When weird nit checks turn out-weird him by betting 2bb.
