i am connectted to 21 peers just now its is being seeded

top leeach has 59.2 and is getting stuff streaight from horses mouth

and between you there is 60%+ of the file so there is stuff out there for everyone even if it aint coming from me as thats near a whole 1% (10 megs) that the top leacher hasnt got that someone else has got

what gets me about the UK and broadband is that although you can get upto 8 meg download speed they limit upload speed to 256k which is crap

then i had to limit my azureus to 220 so that i can still access blonde

i am going to go watch tv so i will up it to max again if there is a problem with the seeding again ask a mod to give me a call please

I know ironside is doing a great job.

 But what is this swarm stuff about?..  when i left for work this morning i had downloaded 888.50MB and when i get home 4 hours later,    my total download shows just  668.60MB ? If i close my client and open it again will it start up where it left off ?

swarm is just a term for the amount of people connectted to each other

when you left this morning there was no way you had downloaded 888 meg of this file as there isnt that much shared yet due to my client going belly up and i show as not connected for along time this afternoon

it is running fast now and should be fully uploaded in around 6-8 hours


you can turn your pc off and then turn it on without losing any of the download

the client manages that so dont worry

Looks like the swarm is in two parts somehow. There is no seed connected to me, but there is no seed in the swarm either.

The swarm is the full number of torrent clients. You may not always be connected to them all but they should be listed in the number in parentesis. Eg. Seeds 1 (5) - there are 5 unconnected seeds and you are downloading from 1 connected.

At least I think thats how it works. Its a while since I did any torrenting at all, too much poker playing to bother

you could proberly watch it now although there will be gapps

but you cant watch at same time as you are downloading it as most media players wont like that

there are 22 people downloading it right now only 18 are connected to me but there is 21 in swarm

i range to being connected from 16 -22

but am only uploading to 5 people at a time

the tracker doesnt even have a seed listed but its on i am there

and we now have 89.9% shared so another 2 hours and it will be going like lightening for those that havent completed and those people only starting the download tomorrow morning should get it in around 2-6 hours depend on the speed of there broadband

please leave your Pc's on tomorrow with the client running to give everyone a chance to download

i will reduce the quailty next time though for 45 minutes around 300k-400k is still good enough quailty to watch full screen i think

Hey do you think when i have downloaded this, I'm over 1 Gig. That i should crank up my upload bandwidth ?. I have it at 50Kbs. But i know it will run faster than that...Will it help?
