Yeah c/jam river is decent. In game I just fist pump bet big since I thought it was the best exploitive line. If I knew he was going to turn some things in to a bluff or rarely hero call me then c/jam is best. With my image though I think I get heroed a lot, particularly when the straight gets there which is pretty difficult for me to have. I think a lot of the time in PLO tournaments people don't like to give you credit for value betting none nuts like this whereas in a cash game most thinking players could easily give you KJ+ for a value range.

what hands do we expect him to check back river that would call a bet? surely we can find more combos of wraps and maybe Jx hands that decide to bluff? Assuming we bets bottom set himself that is.

Sets (but probably not), all two pairs, Jx and the last K. If the guy had a sick opr or was someone I had a reason to have a lot of respect for I'd give him credit for value betting thin and be more likely to check but I thought he was checking back most of his range here. Of course I could've been completely wrong about this.

I would just bet this as standard for the reasons you've given. I think if there's any variation in what we do it has to be sizing, we might get calls from weaker hands if we bet smaller.

Do you think no-one ever piles worse for value in this spot then?

yep.

TBH in a generic mid-stakes cash game once played this way I think your stnd villain will just call JJ here OTR. That's just how people play Omaha "no nuts = no raise"

I disagree, I think even some recreational players these days will think 'my hand is underrepped and it's so difficult for him to have the backdoor straight'. It's not your typical 'no nuts = no raise' situation as there's so little back.
