FFP How Does It Work?

I'm a little confused by FFP and how it is being implimented.

I thought that broadly FPP means that clubs now have to be self-sufficient and are not allowed to spend more than they generate in revenue, although I'm a little vague in that area and am not sure how the net figure is arrived at that they are allowed to spend in the transfer market.

Having spent a reported £22M on Jesus somebody and £30M+ on Fernandino have ManCiteh reached that figure yet?

I believe citeh lost more money than any other club in the EPL last year, £200M+.

There is no ffp rules for the prem.

Championship has been on trial for two years.

Transfer embargos for champ sides begin jan 2015, relegated clubs get a one year exemption.

Tried to force such rules for the prem but got rejected.

League 1 has had the rules for about five years.

Your right, naming rights. Always a loophole if your rich enough.

The rules between the FL and PL are different, the rules for Football league clubs are to make sure that they only spend so much of revenue, whilst slightly different in PL I think.

But if Man City want to magic (or anyone else) up revenue streams then they can. I think clubs are allowed to make a £35m loss each year or £105m over 3.

But it limits smaller football league clubs, how Yeovil can compete with their revenue is beyond me!

I'm completely against FFP.  If some club wants to do their pods then that is up to them imo.

I'm neither for or against, but there is always the likelyhood that there is always going to be a club that do their nuts in, then when it comes back to hurt the community jobs wise and the fans. The rangers case could be s good example

How does such a small club from league two have any realistic chance of promotion when they are only supposed to spend x% of revenue? Your accringtons and aldershot etc etc.

Seems hard to be for or against, but pl ffp is so much different, it's perhaps contradictory.

Apparently we lost 5m and we spent naff all this season
