You would have thought they'd wait until a new manager was installed until they signed someone for the GDP of a small country.

Nothing from Ballague or Hunter.

Nah.

I reckon Kolo Toure started the rumour.

methinks levy saw holtby almost turn the game in the number 10 role for the under 21's and thought he could do a good job behind the front man

Lol

Not proved himself in the prem by a long chalk. Seems to be good for an hour. Pretty poor towards the end of the season. Hoping this season he finds a bit more.

did you see the game?

was superb especially second half lead the team brilliantly, played in his correct position he is a class act

personally i would never judge a player on one season far to many to mention that have gone on from an average start especially one who has generally been stuck out wide

Didn't see the game but have read the reports. I think he's an excellent player but there's an expectation he'll be better this season than he was last and we have a pretty competitive midfield.

Hope you're right. With Sandro back behind him, we just need a striker.

Is he in the top 5 best footballers in the world currently? And if so could he seriously be considering another year without champions league football?

He's 23, just had a baby (whose initials are AVB..!) and isn't going to be a bad footballer this time next year.

For me, he is the third best footballer in the world and I have no doubt he will go in a year's time, like luka modric did, if we fail again. I just hope he stays another year, signs a big contract and we can get good value from an incredible player.
