Modestly over, and not a tough schedule with Jags x2 Titans x2 in their division. Poissibly 10-6 9-7, shouldn't be below 8-8
Don't think the Texans are especially ageing though.
Over 8.5 value at evens ?.... I read the play action oriented texans having some rb injury issues?

they do have issues at rb, but thats not especially unsual in pre-season. once Foster is fit, they'll be a menace as there is finally a WR opposite A Johnson in Hopkins from Clemson
the defense though remains top 5 in the league. Probably means they are small favourites in the division over the Colts
If pressed I would say the Colts would be gunning for the 11-5 of last year, so 8.5 is too low

Buffalo Bills ✔ @buffalobills
Marrone: Plan now is for QB Jeff Tuel will start week 1 against the New England Patriots.
5:30 PM - 26 Aug 2013
You know, Jeff Tuel. I thought we might have drafted him in from Sensible Soccer circa 1994, but I have since learned otherwise:
http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1750789-what-to-expect-from-jeff-tuell-as-bills-starting-qb
he'll be the first undrafted QB to start week one as a rookie since the common draft era began in 1997 after the problems with EJ Manuel and Kolb
Meanwhile, possibly unconnected,
Spiller is on indefinite leave in Florida
Going well, then.
Happy as a pig in muck, me.

I completely missed the boat when it came to getting tickets to either of the Wembley games this year. If anyone has any spares or knows anyone with any spares please let me know. Thanks!

Tickets arrived for the NFL games on Thursday.
For anyone going, who has tickets they're picking up from others, be aware that they've introduced a new bag policy this year, which appears ridiculously draconian by any means. All rucksacks, camera cases, etc will potentially prevent you from getting in.

Fuming about it.

Did you book your tix on Ticketmaster Curtis?
Still no sign of any tickets here.

Yes, got the season tickets, so it may be a case of these going out first (as the deadline was earlier), so I wouldn't worry too much at the moment.

Drawing to many conclusions from one game is usually a mistake, but Baltimore look like they could have a bleak season.
If opposing defenses take Torrey Smith out of the game, they are awfully weak in the receiving corps. I mean, I have less miles on the clock than Brandon Stokley and Dallas Clark!
Plus Ray Rice seemed to have lost some of his zip. The couple of times he got loosish last night, he was caught and tackled rather easily, whereas in years past he would have expected them to be 20 yard + gains.
I fear for them.

They have/had some more tickets available as some were returned from USA

Ridic decision, so many people take rucksacks, especially those taking their kids to see the game

Infinitely better than the BBC Red Button farce of last season.
Also, 'Hard Knocks' is finally being shown in the UK, starting tomorrow on Channel 4. Bengals are the focus this year.

Might be one for the DVR though, as it's on at 7am tomorrow!

Ha, I have watched 4 of the 5 episodes already, so I will probably go with my alternative means to watch the final episode!

Strange goings on pre game in the Saints Atlanta game, Roddy White supposedly likely to suit up but not play much and Asante Samuel just warmed up pre game and looked half fit. Now White is playing even tho he has a bad ankle and the tricky thing with Samual is Atlanta start a rookie on the other side so maybe trying to give the Saints the impression he isn't fit to try and kid them into taking him on instead of the rookie.
Line moved 1/2 a point to Atlanta + 3 1/2 too.

As long as Brees bags a bagful of fantasy points, I'm fine with all the Fergie mindgames.
