Would be very surprised if Cleveland got more than 17 points many games this season minus Weeden and Richardson. Kills Josh Gordon in fantasy, sigh. Bad weather from Novemebr for home games too

obviously going all in on the next draft for Bridgewater, Mariotta etc etc and a franchise QB

Incredible decision to make the trade from Cleveland's viewpoint.

Literally giving up on the season at Week 3.

The more I think about this trade, the more I worry about Richardson's injury history.  The only way this makes sense to me is if the Browns are selling high now for fear of not getting the same value at a later point by delaying it.  Both teams are effectively gambling on Richardson's health.  In the Colt's case, the reason is a huge upside if they're right.  I just don't see how the Browns do it unless they're pretty certain that a serious injury is not far away.

Even if you buy into the rebuild argument for the new management team, surely you don't trade away last year's No 3 overall pick to 'rebuild for the future' unless you think he has no long-term future.  They've got a 1st round pick (probably a mid to late one) in return for him, so where's the certainty that you'll do any better when you use it in April.

The Indy medical team have a lot riding on this deal, that's for sure!

Amazing trade I like the Colts side of it, but have read elsewhere people liking the browns side.

Richardson has looked good in parts I have seen, but his YPC is nothing stellar maybe the Browns simply thought he was not what they thought he was when they drafted him. They have already took that view with Weeden.

the things that matter is Richardson's health and how good Clevelands new QB with a  number 1 pick next year becomes

As of now, you can argue it both ways.

Quite like Richardson helping Indy in January when as a wild card they have to go to Cincy, NE, Denver etc, maybe in bad weather

Quite like Cleveland being a long way away from being competitive and not liking the high draft choices of the recent regime and getting ammo for next season which on the face of it has three franchise QBs in the draft whereas last year had none

Would help if Cleveland could pick well though!

Disagree about Gordon.

I think he (and Cameron) will do better without Richardson as Cleveland have no running attack they'll be forced to throw all the time.

could be

defenses won't have to respect the run though so will double cover Gordon (same happens at Dallas. the OL has been shit and no running game so double Bryant and see if they can beat you other ways)

and then you actually have to get him the ball with Hoyer at QB

They'll also likely be behind in most games now, and needing to prefer throw over run to managed the clock and catch up (unless they don't care anymore and are now sucking for Luck Bridgewater, or whoever).

They have to be worse than Jacksonville to get the 1st pick as well!

Jags should sign Tebow, sell lots of shirts, knowing they will #throwforteddy and beat the Browns to the top pick

Sort of a reverse fantasy league....

Do we think we'll get to see Kansas +3-5 10/11? Looks like a bet if we do.

Cleveland play Jacksonville in Week 13. We could get two 0-15-1 teams this season :p

+3 21/20 already available, and I haven't swept everywhere to get it

edit: Looks like +3 & 11/10 available
