Every fker has one.

My head is full of thoughts, opinions, facts and nonsense.

However, it often needs a gentle prising from its moorings before it dislodges.

I've been around here ages - ask me things.

I am currently full of London Pride, so my cerebral passageways have been lubricated somewhat.

Go!

Time is a human construct.

Myself and the British Cowboy brought Time to its knees - we stretched it like it was a first year boy in an Eton scrum.

I doubt there are many blonde members who have as many posts as you that I know as little about as you (you run good I guess) so will start with quite a lot...

Where did you grow up?

Where do you live now?

Are you married? Do you have any kids?

What is your profession?

How did you get into poker? Also how did you find out about blonde poker?

How do you approach poker now and how often do you play?

Many times.

Continually struck by CBA syndrome.

However, I've always been a quipper. I react to others' utterances.

You know how Alan Davies stinks up QI?  That prick stole my dream job.

Where did you grow up?

Ah, Senor Greekstein, what wise questions you send from timezones distant.

I'm a West London lad - was born in Queen Charlotte maternity hospital back when it was at the end of Goldhawk Road in Hammersmith. My mum used to push me in the pram around Shepherds Bush Green. When I was two, we moved out to Perivale (beside the Hoover Building) and that's where I grew up. It could be the very definition of suburbia - absolutely fuck all of any note ever happened. There was one shit pub, but then the owner bulldozed it to avoid paying any rates and that was that.

Where do you live now?

Bounced around a huge amount but now back in Hammersmith, oddly - living with two German girls. But I don't mention the war.

Are you married? Do you have any kids?

No, no - I am emotionally & financially unemcumbered.

What is your profession?

I've been in online gaming for a while - did poker, then got sidelined into bingo, then back into poker, doing analysis and business strategy for Betfair before getting bounced out in the latest round of redundancies (they're focusing on the sportsbook and mobile casino now). Currently pissing about though potential irons in the fire.

How did you get into poker? Also how did you find out about blonde poker?

Used to punt a bit, got an email from William Hill way back (2003?) saying 'Yo, we haz poker now'. Spent a week playing play money poker in my lunchtimes at work (I was working as a book editor back then) before making the huge step of actually depositing my own money. It went OK. Qualified for the Grand Prix they sponsored on Sky (table with Tony G, Scotty Nguyen, Donnecha O'Dea, Roland De Wolfe and Roy Brindley - this was back when these people actually played poker). Had a spin at the WSOP main event (got knocked out by Allen Cunningham).

In the past few years I've not really played poker religiously. I'll play occasionally live. I've got it semi quietly at Sky here and there, but only for pin money.

Blonde came through the Poker 425 deal with William Hill - there was a link from WH and I found myself here.

Trivia fact for you- I think I'm the only person to have been at every single blonde bash (Tighty once missed one at DTD and turned up on the Sunday afternoon to pop his head in the door). If anyone can contradict this then post, yo.

How do you approach poker now and how often do you play?

Not much now - I'm too lazy to grind the serious amount to crush now - I'll bumhunt the odd soft game I know here and there now and then but I'm too much of a lifenit to spunk coin on poker.

Nah - if it's posh you're after then Chompy's your man.

It's the one thing that's always puzzled me - when I've met people off of here, they seem to think I'm posher then I am, but I ain't.

My parents both came over from Ireland in the 60s - dad was a lorry driver for 40 years, delivering aggregate - mum did clerical stuff until I came along, then she was a stay at home mum.

Catholic background - Catholic boys school. Got quite lucky here - it had been a grammar school up until the 70s, Apparantly now it's gone down the shitter - I hit it at a sweet spot.

Went to Warwick University - did Physics. My big regret in life is not realising back then I should have gone into academia and properly thrown everything into my degree, then PhD etc.  I could properly have torn some shit up - it's not unrealistic to say I might have been Brian Cox (without the comedy Manchester accent).

I have desperately underachieved in life, but that is due to risk aversion - I've always taken the low variance route through life, so I ain't broke or in prison, but not truly excelling either.

How did you come to support QPR?

Shepherds Bush, innit. My old man used to go - he actually had his season ticket taken off him back in about 1975 for passing it back though the fence for a mate of his to get through and watch for free.

My first match was a game against Watford in about 1981. Was at the FA Cup final replay in 1982 when Glenn Hoddle (then my favourite non-QPR player) broke my heart by scoring a penalty to beat us 1-0.

Used to go quite regularly - stood in the Loft. Stopped post-Hillsborough when the seats went in - even an Oomph-Loompah would complain about the legroom at Loftus Road, never mind someone who is 6'2".

Stellar question.

Tosh Lines can fuck off - useless drunk. Burnside always fell on the wrong side of naughty. Even though he was bent, Don Beech had an aura about him

As for skirt, there was always something about Debbie McAllister.

Worst song on the best album you own?

Punk Love on 69 Love Songs by Magnetic Fields - I know it's a throwaway song to make up the numbers but it's just two words sung over and over again.

David Bentley is looking for a new club. QPR?

I used to get together with some university friends of mine, Charity Shield weekend, to spend an afternoon drinking beer and having an auction for our Fantasy League.

One of my greatest moments was persuading a mate of mine, short of midfielders, that 'David Bentley's pretty good - he's worth a punt'.

He wasn't.

It actually is.

Betfair made the mistake years ago of going after the 'high value exchange customers' (ie - shrewdies). These guys don't vomit money on roulette like the muppets. That's where the money is, and it's where Bet365, etc kicked Betfair's arses.

Bet365 make more money from Chinese guys playing Baccarat than you would believe.
