So I woke up this morning to find out that PokerStrategy.com has been sold to Playtech. Not formed any strong opinions either way, other than wanting to know more. Generally I like change and there does seem to be a wave of positivity within the company this morning, so I'll take that for the time being.

In keeping with my 'name that Simpsons joke gifs' it does remind me of this one

Germans have bought the power plant off Mr.Burns and Lenny gets plastic surgery to be permanently smiling for his shares in the power plant. . Lenny says its the worst day of his life in the gif. I think they've all been fired or found Mr.Burns is coming back, not quite sure.

Burns verkauft der Kraftwerk. Guess 1992/3 ish.

Homer sells his shares for $25 while everyone else gets filthy rich. Germans buy the power plant and homer gets fired as safety inspector.

"We have completed our evaluation of the plant. We announce the following layoffs in alphabetical order...
Simpson, Homer. That is all."

Good episode.

I will be truly disappointed if you don't get this one - possibly the best line from the best ever episode

Don't be alarmed. Just continue your daily business as if I weren't wearing a hat.

Hang on. This is the Kwik-E-Mart episode, so...

"If it helps, I've learned that life is one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead"

Must win, surely?

That's what Apu says into the camera, yes, but saying that's the best line in the programme is like saying the best minor Simpsons character is Mr McGreg (with a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg), when it is obviously Handsome Pete.

It's a good episode, but Homer the Great, Lisa the Beauty Queen and The Homer They Fall all place higher up, no?

You'd better run, Egg!

Nope, sorry but you are wrong in everything you have said today. Homer and Apu best episode, Homer Badman a close second imo.

Whoah, a fat, sarcastic star trek fan? You must be a devil with the ladies. Gee, I hate to let you down, Casanova, but no receipt, no return.

Homer, you're 38 years old, you don't know how to box and you haven't had any exercise since grade school. Of all the crazy ideas you've had, this ranks somewhere in the middle
.

Astonishing you put this episode below those.

Best thing of that episode is when he advises Homer to visualize himself winning.

Also like when Bart says "wait, isn't Dad the one in the black shorts?"

But no, its only a good episode. Flaming Mos, the one where Homer teaches a night class, the one where Homer becomes best friends with Ned, the one where Homer works for the super villain all spring to mind as better, there will be more.
