Trainio, since for the great desire I had
To see fair Paddington, nursery of arts,
I am arriv'd for fruitful London Marylebone,
The pleasant garden of Regent’s Park,
And by Bakerloo's love and leave am arm'd
With his good will and thy good company,
My trusty servant well approv'd in all,
Here let us breathe, and haply institute
A course of learning and ingenious studies.
DLR, renowned for grave citizens,
Gave me my being and my Oystercard first,
A merchant of great traffic through the world,
Willesden Green, come of the Junction;
Willesden’s son, brought up in Brent,
It shall become to serve all hopes conceiv'd,
To deck the Jubilee with its virtuous greyness.
And therefore, Trainio, for the time I study,
Virgin and that part of the trip to Euston
Will I take heed of those threats of tube strikes
By virtue specially to be achiev'd.
Tell me thy mind; for I have a fiver left
And am to Paddington come as they say “leaves
on the line” to plunge us into delays,
And with that tannoy seek to quench my thirst.

- Lucentio, opening lines of The Taming of the Shrew

Incredible what he was able to write, that chap.

Incredible indeed.

Most mornings I send my wife a gif from the Simpsons to reflect something which is going on in our daily lives. For the Simpsons fans out there, name the quotes that go with these pictures:

I presume Tal wins this one.

Ooh I'm making people happy! I'm the magical man from happy land in a gumdrop house on lollipop lane!

By the way I was being sarcastic.

(Well, duh!)

Can't immediately picture the second one, though...

While Tal pulls his hair out at the Simpsons gif, I used my one time today.

Just been to the gym (lifted some weights with FUN4FRASER) and went to get a coffee from the Costa they have their. Asked for a medium coffee, they only hard large cups to take out, so he filled it to the top. He then stamped my loyalty card before taking payment, and finally the card machine was broken so I got it for free anyway.

Can you giffify the second picture, please, for a clue?

That's a niche one! Would have taken me a while.

So I woke up this morning to find out that PokerStrategy.com has been sold to Playtech. Not formed any strong opinions either way, other than wanting to know more. Generally I like change and there does seem to be a wave of positivity within the company this morning, so I'll take that for the time being.

In keeping with my 'name that Simpsons joke gifs' it does remind me of this one

It happened again! Twice in one week, boooom!
