ABOUT ST. MAARTEN:

'The island of St Maarten has 37 beautiful white beaches, crystal clear sea, bounty islands near the coast, palm trees and a tropical relaxed atmosphere. It is immersed by gentle trade winds and the climate is sunny and warm year-round. Average temperature during the winter season is 27ºC and a few degrees warmer and more humid in the summer with an average water temperature of 25ºC.'

Players can win and experience this as well as entry into the €1,290 CPT Open for just one days play on Speed Poker. JohnnyDTDCash is currently top of the leaderboard but scores are not cumulative so whoever scores the most Speed Poker points on one day can win the €5000 package.

Plenty of time to get involved.

Good Luck,
Glenn.

This weekend has seen a new name at the top of the overall leaderboard.

jamesmarriot has taken the top spot with 735.96 points, 110 points more than the previous highest scorer.

http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/speedpoker-leaderboard.php

He's done this from just one day's play, so anyone has the chance to beat him to try and win the €5,000 CPT St. Maarten package.

Good Luck,
Glenn.

We really are getting to the business end of this promotion now where, as already proven, it isn't all over yet.

Just when you think one top score has smashed the previous another comes in a day or two later.

These scores are based one just ONE days play as points are not cumulative.

Therefore there is nothing stopping anyone getting involved and trying to win the €5,000 CPT package.

You could be playing poker here..

Hi Guys,

Just a few days left.

I'm quite excited as this draws to a close to see if any potential big scorers have been holding back to see what they have to beat.

Remember it takes just 1 days worth of play (as points are not cumulative) to try and beat the current high score and win a Caribbean Poker Tour package worth €5000.

More info and the leaderboard can be found here:
http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/cpt-speed-poker-challenge.php

Good Luck if your going to have a go.

Could someone from DTD explain what is going on with the Speed Poker Promotion.  We've gone from this

1st Place: If you earn the MOST Speed Poker points in ONE single day throughout the Speed Poker Challenge you will win an amazing €5,000 St. Maarten CPT Package, a 10 night Caribbean trip including entry into the €1,290 CPT Open.

2nd Place: Wins 5 x $180+$20 CPT St. Maarten Super Sat seats

3rd Place: Wins 3 x $180+$20 CPT St. Maarten Super Sat seats

4th & 5th Place: Win 2 x $180+$20 CPT St. Maarten Super Sat seats

6th - 10th Place: Win 1 x $180+$20 CPT St. Maarten Super Sat seats

To this

1st Place: If you earn the MOST Speed Poker points in ONE single day throughout the Speed Poker Challenge you will win an amazing €5,000 St. Maarten CPT Package, a 10 night Caribbean trip including entry into the €1,290 CPT Open.

2nd Place: Wins 2 x £336 300 Deepstack seat

3rd Place: Wins 1 x £336 300 Deepstack seat

4th & 5th Place: Win 2 x £115 Weekly Deepstack 100 seat

6th - 10th Place: Win 1 x £115 Weekly Deepstack 100 seat

With just an explanation on the website that

For Legal reasons we have not been able to run the CPT Super Sats therefore substitute prizes have been put in place above

I did make the assumption here that the satellite tokens quoted in $'s initially were actually €'s, as when the satellites were running on DTD, they were all in €'s, but clearly this is not the case based on the value of the new substitute prizes.  You know what they say when you 'assume'.

I just can't believe that this was changed on the website and no mention of it here or on the Facebook event page, both of which have been updated on a regular basis, promoting the challenge.

Hi Guys

just to put you in the picture we have been told by the UK Gambling Commission to withdraw the CPT promo due to the event being ran in a none white licensed country.

It really is a shame but we couldn't give players tokens to events that we can no longer run on our skin.

We still want to honour the prizes to the value of what was originally stated

I will check the values and amend if needed

Thanks for the response Nick.

Does this mean that any other iPoker skins running these satellites are breaking UK Gambling Commission rules, or have yourselves and Genting been singled out ?

Also, does this iimapct on the Golden Chip added value for the Grand Prix Final Table ?

Cheers,

Leigh

Well it does look that way but we have to take our own legal advice.

As for the promo - we are committed to a holiday as the prize so added value is all good.............
