There is a huge list of things Warnock did in the last few years to warrant he never manages again. Seeing as he once said if he ever managed Sheff Wed he would see how fair he could plunge them down the leagues this is a non starter.

To be fair, that comment was all part of the banter. There is part of me that thinks Warnock might be tempted because he feels he was screwed by McCabe at United and managing Wednesday (if successful) would be pay back.

At least it's not Cotterill.
I'd take Warnock.
I can see why you'd want someone with such a proven track record but surely this would be as divisive as when Wilson went to United? I would imagine you'd have the same hardcore of supporters who would simply refuse to accept him from Day 1, which ultimately curtails his longevity in the role. Whether or not that would extend to protests taking place in the car park at the press conference announcing his appointment remains to be seen. Can you realistically envisage it happening? Nope, definitely can't see it happening, especially after Mandaric mentions he wants to give the fans what they deserve, etc. But I would happily take him, considering the options available. There isn't really anyone I can genuinely say, I'd really like to appoint them as manager, probably the reason why I wasn't part of the "Get Jones out" brigade.

I feel the same looking at the list for our job.
There's a poll on the forum at the moment and I'm struggling to vote. The one's I'd most like are the names I don't think are realistic for various reasons (e.g. Holloway) and the one's who seem more realistic don't particularly inspire me.
If Phelan is a realistic candidate (and I'd say this is only feasible due to the links between Watkins and Man Utd) then I guess he'd be my choice. If he's not then I'm torn between Wilson and names not currently at the forefront of the speculation.

The ecstasy: checking in at 10:15pm and seeing you won away at Brighton.
The agony: looking straight to the Wednesday and Yeovil results and realising that you're still bottom.
Huge results for all 3. Back in touch with the pack at the very least.
One Micky Mellon, there's only one..........

Booed off the pitch at half time and full time.
Lots of people saying on our forums are saying what I said earlier now. Garcia is clueless....the good thing is we have only played well for 135 minutes this season and are not a mile away from the play offs.

Good result for us last night & good value for it too.
Warnock clear favourite now, odds on with SkyBet. No idea what is happening.

A few rumours he has been appointed now & the fact Mandaric came out saying he will explain the appointment, might suggest he does indeed want to appoint Warnock. He's still EVS in places, 4/9 on sky bet.

Pearce now odds on favourite, hope there has been a change because I was told he had been interviewed but couldn't agree terms.
Maybe that has changed.
Not a fan of Pearce as a manager but quite keen on my 33/1 bets coming in.

No goals from Dirty Leeds required for the 2nd half ....... if so, the Loofah 'specials' free-rolling for the scoop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS. What an atmosphere ............... from the travelling Orns.

Just seen Ince's post match interview there, and reckon he might get invited for tea and no biscuits at the FA headquarters on the back of it.

Just been to Hillsborough.
A classic Billy Davies performance and team.
Strong, aggressive and masters at timewasting and play acting when 1-0 up.
Forest were the better team and out muscled Wednesday for most of the game.
I wish Wednesday had a nasty aggressive manager with a winning mentality like Davies.
You hate him as an opposition manager but you'd love him if he was getting results for your team.

I burst out laughing, one of the best manager interviews i have seen in a long time. It is almost as if he is pulling everyones leg.
