How short is the realistic list of Ladies winners?
Ruling Federer out completely? I think he's slightly on the decline, finally. Funny how we have thought of him as being on the cusp of past-it for at least a couple of years and have almost been surprised whenever he has pulled out another 'last' big result. We haven't yet started thinking about Serena like that, although they are the same age. |

needs to sort her serve out quickly, other than that, looks to have what it takes to make progress over the coming years. |

Robson looks far better than Kanepi. Kanepi's serve is more erratic than Robson's. If Robson controlled her nerves I'm sure she'd be dominating this match comfortably.

It's going to be tight. Kanepi wins the tie-break. Meanwhile Lisicki wins the first set 6-2 against Serena Williams. Very high quality tennis. |
